Xman has discovered Snapchat

My students have been having fun with the face filters on snapchat this year.  A couple of weeks ago I finally gave in and created an account.  Why? Because I like to try out new social media so I am not the last one to the party (even though I did drag my feet on this one), and because I knew Xman would love it.

Samantha had started sending us pics of KA and then Chelsea even got Papaw playing along

We are just driving through Louisiana on this trip, but stopped to take a couple of pictures. 

Xman and I didn't agree on where he should stand for this picture.  So we took 2 pictures.  He really wanted to stand by the bird.

I like seeing the differences in the view from the road on the different places we travel.   

And though it wasn't open it stopped to take a picture at the duck commander sign.  It seems to be a required stop; there was a steady stream of people taking pictures. 

And we taught him to say "les en bon temps rouler" for the next trip to Lousiana.

New goals

After a friend posted that he was excited to see all 50 states before he was 40, I decided to see how close to 50 we could get Xander to before he graduated high school. 

Prior to this he has been to Texas, Arkansas and Tennessee.  

After think of several ways to document our travels I remembered this blog that I had given up on because I started putting everything on Facebook or Instagram instead.  So I'm bringing it back.  And I have some back tracking to do!
